Igbo Cultural Organisation Rheinland-Platz – Hessen e.V. in Germany have had many successful projects in Nigeria and we are delighted to share them with you!
Ebenator Primary School
Today, considerable number of primary schools in south east surprisingly still study under poor conditions, making it relatively hard for the pupil to perform well. There are cases where pupils have to seat on the floor or get squeezed into very few available chairs or benches.
In line to achieving one of the Aims and Objectives of our Organisation, namely; “To assist in providing modern amenities for the needy…”, Igbo Cultural Organisation again in 2017 supported, by donating much needed 100 set of ‘chairs and tables’ for the pupil of Ebenator primary school.
ICO is happy and proud to having completed such a project and subsequently bring beaming smiles of hope to the faces of vibrant young children.
We are committed to initiating and bringing many more smiles of hope to the faces of our dear little ones in some primary schools in Igbo land. To this effect, we have proposed and earmarked four primary schools in south east that will benefit from this project in no distant time
We urge you to be part of this project by donating towards its success.
Amaeze Migrant Primary School
In 2009 we supported Amaeze Migrant Primary School with a much needed 100 desks and chairs. Prior to this donation the children of Amaeze Migrant Primary School struggled to learn while sitting on the floor or on the ground outdoors.
Supplying children at the primary school with desk and chairs where they could read, write and concentrate was essential towards creating an educational environment that attracts, and keeps eager young students.
